We ask our athletes to find a 'player role model' who plays at a level higher than they currently do. This allows us to study not just the physical movements of the athlete but their body language, interaction with teammates and leadership styles. Through the Olympic volleyball website players are able to find many different types of players that they can use as a vision of their future self.
