Tribe Scout

The traditional method of providing our team scouting information on our upcoming opponent was done in a lecture style.Any visual aids such as video were provided at the time of the scout and not available to the athletes after that.With advancing technology video on opponents is now available via an online website.This website also has a commenting feature that allows you to tag other coaches or players at different points of the video.Using these online video resources, we created small groups or as we called them ‘tribes’ to work together in the scouting process. This was a way to increase active engagement in scouting while also creating opportunities for group engagement.By engaging with the scouting content in a creative way we were able to inspire and learning in both face to face and virtual environments.
