E-newsletter

The creation of the enewsletter was an example of how to use digital tools and resources to connect with our fans, alumni, recruits and others in the Utah Volleyball Community.  There was an opportunity to collaborate with my athletes as I helped them create a contribution for each newsletter.  I used a word document template and utilized icloud photoshare between the staff and players to collaborate on creating content for the newsletter.  Upon reflection, there are many other opportunities for deeper collaboration between our athletes if I had them help with the creation of portions of the newsletter in small groups.  I could also increase collaboration and connection by asking them to connect with other areas from the university, athletic department or in the community to create content.  The challenge is the time demands in season so this may be a better off-season project.
