Screen Casting with Jing

This is a tutorial for how to use the free screencast program Jing.  Screencasting is a tool that allows you to video capture what is on your screen with the option to talk through the video being captured.  This tool allows coaches to create digital content for teaching, learning and motivation.  It also allows coaches and players to work digitally in a hybrid learning environment.  Coaches can send customized and personalized videos talking through performances and giving corrective feedback.  Players can also create screencast video with questions that can be sent to coaches.  This type of app is very helpful as coaches try to meet the needs of diverse athletes’ learning styles.  It also can be used for athletes to use as a working strategy, providing experience working with others remotely using digital tools and resources.
